Anchor was built for kids with developmentally normal separation anxiety and for families navigating the everyday distance that life creates. It is for any family who wants to feel a little closer when life keeps them apart.

Anchor is for you if...

Your child

  • Struggles at drop-off but settles once you're gone

  • Misses you during the day but can function without you present

  • Is going through a transition — new school, custody change, new caregiver

  • Wants a private, screen-free way to feel connected

  • Is generally ages 3 and up

Your family

  • Navigating co-parenting or shared custody

  • Has a deployed or frequently traveling parent

  • Working from home and wants to stay connected without disruption

Anchor may not be right if…

  • If your child has been diagnosed with clinical-level separation anxiety disorder, a transitional object can reinforce avoidance. We recommend working with a therapist first.

  • Your child already relies on multiple safety behaviors to get through transitions

  • Separations cause significant functional impairment (meltdowns lasting 30+ minutes, inability to engage in school, frequent teacher intervention)

  • You as the parent are highly anxious about separations. This can unintentionally signal to your child that separation is something to fear.
